Conditions of Hire

• A deposit of $250.00 is required within 14 days to confirm the booking. The balance of payment is due 4-6 weeks prior to the hire period. In the event of a cancellation no money will be refunded until the full period of hire has been rebooked.
• A security bond of $500.00 to be paid to attendant on the day of departure. All fuel used during the hire period will be paid for by the hirer at the completion of the hire.
• The number of persons must not exceed the number of berths under the marine and harbors regulatioins.
• No animals, firearms or motorbikes permitted onboard.
• Travel at night is strictly prohibited.
• Proprietor reserve the right to refuse permission to board at their own discretion.
• Instruction on handling the craft given before departure.
• Hirer can board between 2.30-3.00pm on the first day and must be moored by 9.00am on the last day.
• Anyone driving the house boat must be over the age of 18 years and hold either a current motor vehicle or boat licence.
• No all male or all female crews unless pre-arranged with the manager.
• All damage to the craft and or contents, including losses, is the responsibility of the hirer who will be charged at cost
